On Saturday, September 12th, 2020, from 8-10 PM EDT, BOA’s 23rd annual Dine & Rhyme fundraiser will be hosted online via Zoom and 32Auctions! Tickets are available through Eventbrite. This year’s Dine & Rhyme will honor the legacy of esteemed poet Lucille Clifton (1936-2010) and celebrate the publication of How to Carry Water: Selected Poems of Lucille Clifton, edited by distinguished BOA poet Aracelis Girmay.

The event features an interview with Girmay and Michael Silverblatt of Bookworm, readings from How to Carry Water, the premiere of a short documentary film on the life and work of Lucille Clifton, the Cornelius Eady Trio performing a musical rendition of Lucille Clifton’s poem “let there be new flowering,” and a silent auction supporting BOA Editions.

Please email hartman@boaeditions.org for more information about auction item donations. Find more information about sponsoring Dine & Rhyme here.
