Join Tupac Shakur's mentor and manager, Leila Steinberg, and his former business partner, producer, director, and artist, Tracy Danielle Robinson and Nahshon Dion for a literary event via Zoom commemorating the iconic artist, rapper, and poet Tupac's 50th birthday on June 16th @ 8-9:30 pm (EST). Over a dozen artists, poets, and writers (from the USA and Canada and England), including publishing professionals, will honor Tupac's legacy by reading excerpts from his 1999 instant classic poetry book "The Rose That Grew From Concrete" (Pocket Books/MTV Books). They will also discuss the positive social impact of Tupac's music and how he remains relevant regarding social justice in light of the current state of racism and anti-Blackness.
